Charles was great to work with. He knew what he was talking about, informed us of pros and cons when we had to make decisions, and went above and beyond to give us great floors. Always on time and communicative. And flexible when we discovered new things about the subfloor and found another HVAC vent! He’s been the best contractor we’ve worked with in this house so far.

Charles installed new oak stairs and a landing to replace 28 year old carpet. It’s solid, beautiful, and has no squeaks. He was easy to work with, cleaned up at the end of each day, and earned our trust. We couldn’t be happier.

Not only did Charles know how to properly protect floors of that age, he was excited to create a custom color to better match the other woodwork in our home. On top of that he was fully communicative and willing to work around our schedule, including putting in extra time when the job needed it. Charles was amazing from start to finish. He is easy to talk to and was very considerate throughout the whole process. My partner and I reached out to three other flooring companies for estimates and Charles was fairly priced while also having the most transparent and thorough estimates. You can tell he cares about his quality of work by the details he conveys before starting the job. During the job, he also will let you know what was done that day and teaches you some fun hardwood flooring facts if you are interested! I also had the unique experience of laying my own plank of wood and nailing it to the floor.
