I am writing to express my concerns regarding Daytona Plumbing's billing practices, which seem to have changed significantly over the past five years. While I have appreciated your services in the past, recent experiences have led me to question the ethical assessment of billable hours. Specifically, I've observed that the clock starts running for a service call as soon as your technician leaves their previous appointment, with the first hour charged at $125. On my last visit, it took approximately 40 minutes from the time of the call until the technician arrived at my location. After reviewing the work, the technician then left for nearly an hour and 15 minutes to retrieve supplies. Had to have old cast iron drain pipes replaced under the house slab. The plumber I normally use doesn't do this job. They recommended Daytona Plumbing. John, with 51 years of experience, came out and explained what needed to be done and why. John and Buddy came in and did a professional job that I couldn't be happier with. Have to add that they had help from Stephen later too. All were as good as you could hope for. Shout out to Carrie in office who was extremely helpful.

The plumber was an entire day late with no notice. He was dismissive/rude in front of my children, and overpriced. He did not even greet me, just walked through the door and into the home. Also, did not do a thorough job; this was his second time back for the same issue. I would not let him back in my house if he paid me!

Called for a bathroom plumbing issue beyond my ability to fix. Shane arrived in a few hours and had everything working in no time. My experience with Daytona Plumbing was outstanding. Prompt, friendly, and professional. Their rates are competitive with other plumbers in the area. I would use them again for sure.

Called at 9:24am and explained that I had a broken line going to my backflow. I was given the rates and scheduled a service call for as soon as possible. Without exaggeration, Steve pulled into my driveway at 9:30am. Granted he was at a nearby location, but that is still a quick response. He was very professional and got the job done in roughly an hour. I would highly recommend Daytona plumbing.
