About two years ago, Vanderson DiGesu completed a kitchen and family room renovation for us. That work went so well that when the time came to renovate the master bathroom, we did not hesitate to contact him again. Working with Vanderson is a pleasure because he takes the time to explain the various options to consider with every decision to be made, along with the cost. The ability to explain and collaborate is also evident in his dealings with sub-contractors. Everyone on the project is engaged and clear about what needs to be done. The quality of the result could not be higher.

We coordinated with Vanderson to accomplish a complicated remodel of our first floor, some 1700 sq ft. This project included a kitchen renovation, new hardwood floors, 2 bathroom remodels, removing a fireplace, installing skylights, complex electrical, high end lighting and the associated framing, drywall, finishing and painting. Additionally he installed all the molding in our North Stamford house. There is nobody else in this area I would use and I would recommend DiGesu contracting without hesitation.

Failed to pull permits when required Failed to come close to time to complete job (less than a quarter completed in the 50 business days he proposed) Misrepresented our position, and directly lied to subcontractors and vendors Lied about non-existent previous relationships with subcontractors Changed his disclosed fees from 10%, up to 25% of the total project costs, but actually invoiced 58% above what he paid subcontractors. Failed to pay subcontractors money we had paid to him specifically for the jobs completed, and claimed to the subcontractors that he had not been paid.

Complete demo and redo of our elevated back deck and garage. Excellent service, responsive, great attention to detail. Will certainly use again for additional projects, both big and small. Professional, through, and knowledgeable.
