Prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service! Had a late afternoon issue when we ran out of heating oil (totally my fault), heat was off, and house was barely 39 degrees. Called *another* company that has provided our fuel for two years, they would not come until 36-48 hours later; even though our town is part of their daily service route. Called Dead River at 4:35pm and by 5:50pm a very knowledgeable and helpful service technician showed up, filled the tank, and taught me how to restart the furnace. Yes, there was a convenience fee for this but it was totally reasonable given that they moved quickly to fit me into the schedule. They have my business! I just wanted to share that I have had Dead River - Ellsworth, ME for my propane and oil heating systems/delivery for a 1.5 years, and they have been awesome!!! Whether it is the service techs that come to my house for annual maintenance on my heating system, the delivery drivers, or the office staff, everyone has been incredibly professional and helpful. My annual service contract has paid for itself; it's definitely worth having for the service and piece of mind. Their quick response to a system problem I had recently ensured the heat stayed on during the tough Maine winter. Thank you for all you do to demonstrate you appreciate my business. I absolutely love this company. I have been with them for 8 years now. Always respectful, pleasant to talk to AND they always show up even when I have 2 pounds left. Lol! They are great thank you Dead River!!!

Team at Dead River is helpful and efficient. The drivers are particularly impressive. Our long, winding driveway isn’t easy to negotiate and they do it perfectly every time. Never a broken branch!

All of our dealings with the company from discussing the purchase of a new furnace, to quick, thorough, and pleasant installation of it have been an easy and pleasant experience. There was not one employee that wasn’t helpful and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. This also extended to working with those providing financial help and information and obtaining extra filters afterward. Bravo Dead River!
