couldn’t be more impressed with Dean Schulefand and Associates! Dean repaired the crystal topper for my Louis XIII Cognac decanter, which had been broken in two places. His craftsmanship was absolutely flawless. The topper looks amazing. He even managed to retain the original serial number, which is essential for keeping it matched to the decanter. Dean was professional, responsive, and meticulous every step of the way. His communication was clear, his turnaround time was excellent, and the final result exceeded all expectations. True artistry and attention to detail. highly recommended!

WOW. While visiting a friend I put a big chip in her 75+ year old Fiesta mixing bowl -- her grandmother's, originally I opted for the 'visible' repair at Schulefand, and my friend and I are BOTH very impressed! She said she had to look hard to find the chipped spot, so I can only imagine that the 'invisible' repairs truly are invisible. Well worth the round trip shipping cost from Michigan! She is delighted to have her grandmother's bowl usable again, and I'm relieved she still has her family heirloom.

Dean is a master. It's taking a bit longer than expected, but it's such a relief to see that our pieces have been so expertly repaired. Some of our pieces had suffered what seemed to be irreparable damage, but I now have espresso or ginger shot sizes, and repaired pieces that look like they were intentionally designed that way. Totally worth the wait, go easy on it, you won't regret it. If you collect luxury crystal and are not afraid of stepping outside the box, ask Dean for his suggestions on how to repair your pieces, his work speaks for itself.

Dean Schulefand restored my two heirloom Irish crystal glasses, mending a broken stem on one and repairing the base and stem of the other by adding glass to fill in the damage. I am both impressed by the precision and very grateful for the restoration of two pieces of my family memories. Brilliant work!

Dean is fabulous! I brought two glass pieces to him: a mid-century modern crystal case and a Venetian hand blown bird. The bird had one chip, the vase many. The work he did on both is absolutely marvelous: you cannot tell where the bird was chipped, and you have to know where to look to even guess that the vase was damaged. I highly recommend his work (and he’s also very nice to talk to).
