Deer Creek Electric

Love my Generic generator. Deer Creek did a great job years ago installing it and over the years it’s performed fantastically. Today, in overnight snow storm, my neighborhood lost power. The generator came on as normal, but 30 minutes later, it stopped working. I called Deer Creek and they diagnosed the issue through their system. I asked when I could get service and was told within an hour. Thirty minutes later their serviceman was at my door. Fifteen minutes later the unit was working and my family was all smiles. You truly can’t get better service !!!! When I pulled my credit card out to pay for their service they told me no charge - I was still under my 10 year warrantee. They deserve 10 stars for their outstanding service.

BEWARE! I need to warn customers of a problem that I had with my Deer Creek Electric Generac Generator that is 4 years old. I was told by the owner that if I paid my $40 a month, I would have no worries with repairs. He has denied this and told me he has been doing this for 33 years and makes no promises. I see him use that 33 year statement in other replies to reviews. One day my stove made a loud pop and stopped working. My Lowes plan required an electrician first. I had one down and paid $150 for him to tell me it was the generator. Brian Samples came down and replaced the Smart Management Module down in my basement that is connected to my stove. The charge was $435. He said that it is an accessory and not covered. I am 78 years old. He made fun of me by mockingly saying NoNo

Hello, I want to tell everyone that I highly recommend Deer Creek Electric for a Generac generator unit installation and service. When Brian came to show us his presentation, I was highly impressed with his thorough explanation and knowledge of Generac equipment. I was also impressed to know of his extensive parts warehouse to be able to respond with any parts that might be needed for service or repair. Most all other Generac suppliers do not carry parts in stock, they need to order, and you wait until the parts arrive. Also, any time I call Deer Creek all of the employees respond with a friendly attitude and are very professional! The technicians arrived on time and explained the process before starting. They were very personable and conducted themselves in a professional manner. The installation went smoothly and the cleaned up thoroughly every area where they worked. I highly recommend Deer Creek Electric for the purchase and installation of a generator.

My unit wouldn't run it's weekly test. Didn't have to wait long for Brian to come and replace the unit's battery charger and fix the fuse holder. My unit is a dinosaur and I appreciate his willingness to keep it going and not pressuring to install a new unit. When the time comes though, he'll be contacted.
