Mohammad and his team did a meticulous job power-washing and repointing our brick facade, as well as redoing the crumbling brownstone trim, painting the eaves and porch, and fixing the old and crumbling concrete porch. Despite the intense heat the weeks they were here, the crew remained in good cheer and were a joy to work with. They were on time, communicative, professional, and the price was fair. My only suggestion would be to make sure that all prices for any possible contingencies are spelled out ahead of time rather than figured out once work has started. I would highly recommend.

We hired Define Contracting to complete a full restoration of our brownstone facade, and the results far exceeded our expectations. Before this project, our building was covered in unsightly reddish-brown paint, which in many areas was flaking off like a bad sunburn. Beneath the paint, the 130-year-old brownstone was crumbling to dust. Seven months later, thanks to Rubel and his hard-working team, the building is reborn. The facade is now a beautiful, rich, even and historically accurate brownstone. I don't know how Rubel manages to find such talented artisans, but we were amazed by their skill in creating perfectly crisp edges, corners and moldings. Rubel and his team did an amazing job repairing our crumbling and leaky entryway and stairs. They went above and beyond to make sure all the issues were fixed and even coordinated the finishing touches like updated lighting, painting, and fixtures. They were considerate, professional, and communicative. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors. I highly recommend Define Contracting.

Rubel and his team did a great job replacing a stairway to the basement of our coop that was too steep. They dug everything out and put in a even and easy to walk down limestone stairway. The work was done in a timely manner and Rubel was very upfront about when they would be there and when they would be finished - Great job - we will hire them again for other projects I am sure. They might be a bit higher in price but well worth it.
