DeHart Street Parking Garage

I’m a big fan of the DeHart Street Parking Garage. I feel that the rates are reasonable given the location. It is very convenient to the businesses and restaurants in the downtown Morristown area by The Green. Overall it’s a great parking garage in a very convenient location.

I parked here for a few hours and it only cost $3. But then again, I'm used to paying New York City parking prices. The garage can be crowded at times, but it is clean. There is also an elevator available if you don't want to take the stairs.

Fairly easy to use parking garage in central Morristown. Plenty of space on weekends. Not super expensive.

I parked here 05-31-2019 for the "Meet me in Morristown" event (which was awesome!) However, this parking garage needs to relax their policy with the timed exiting. I paid for my ticket, waited for the elevator which was taking longer than usual because 1 of the 2 were out of order at the main gate, wrangled my 2 kids to the car, and then tried to exit. The gate would not open and asked me to pay a "additional fee" for taking too long. I called the attendant and asked him to let me out thinking it was a mistake to which he replied, "You have to pay the fee to get out, you took too long!" I replied,"I paid my ticket, went to my car, and now I am here." It has been less than 15 min, mind you at this point. He says,"I don't make the rules of the system, pay your fee our stay in here.
