Delight Cooling and Heating

Coil went out on my air handler. Was quoted $6,000 by Vet**** Air, a company I used to love. Alas, they were bought out by one of two private equity firms along with about 80% of the AC/HVAC companies in the Bradenton/Sarasota area during COVID and have gone downhill in service and up Mount Everest in pricing since! Well, even if this was a $3,000 coil, I wasn’t going to throw that kind of money into a 14-year old system. I also needed new duct work as the old ducts were in bad condition and starting to sweat in the attic from leaks. I had always just planned to get that done as a package deal when the AC did finally quit. I went ahead and requested a quote from Vet**** Air since they were already here, and it ended up being almost $30,000!!! <insert you’re out of your cussing mind emoji

Our AC died recently and what a sticker shock from the last time we replaced an AC! Wow. I got quotes from several different companies around town and finally found Delight. Professional, punctual, and so reasonable on pricing. We were so relieved to find a company that isn’t swinging for the fences on everything. We were able to get an upgraded system for about two-thirds the price as my other quotes! The owner, Gene, is great. I really love that he’ll answer if I call, but he also answers texts as well. Many of the larger companies in town just aren’t that accessible. When you call, you get their admin and schedulers. That’s it. You can’t talk to a tech or supervisor or anyone who actually knows what’s going on with your case. LOVE these guys!

Great experience with this AC company. They were professional, arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue. The repair was done efficiently, everything was explained clearly, and the pricing was fair. My AC is working perfectly now highly recommend their services.
