If I could give 10 stars, I would! We are absolutely thrilled with our new deck! From start to finish, all of the guys at Denver Deck were professional, patient, and take pride in all of the work they do! Cody, the salesguy, answered all of our questions and was patient in us changing and amending the contract I dont know how many times. Peter, engineer and project manager, was helpful with our HOA woes and patient with the schedule deadlines. HUGE shoutout to Carson and his entire crew.....they were amazing and took extreme pride in their work. Our deck is literally a work of art. The details in so many areas impressed us to no end. Hard Pass on Denver Deck Wanna be Builders 6 or 7 of the deck boards were badly scratched. I requested they be replaced and was met with excuses and arguments. Shane replaced one, I had to argue to get one more replaced. Our new deck is still covered in scratches. "That's how we get them from our supplier" The main beam support running the length of the deck is crooked. There is significant gap between the posts and this beam. Shane put metal shims to take up the gap but they just slide out. This will warp and bend over time. Terrible craftsmanship at the most important structure points. Corner joints are horribly lined up with screws missing thier intended material. There are screws poking out EVERYWHERE. Why can't we use the correct length screw for the job? Living in the mountains, it’s so hard to find a crew that will show up, let alone do a proper job…. So I extended my search for a crew to rebuild my deck that was literally falling apart and was becoming unsafe. My search led me to the website for Denver Deck Builders. From the second I talked to Tyler on the phone, I knew this was the crew for the job. Professional all around, I got my deck replaced with composite material, and a more beautiful design within my existing footprint. Standing on this new sturdy and gorgeous construction made me realize just how unsafe (and how much the old deck actually moved) under my feet when walking on it. Denver Deck Builders did an excellent job on our patio replacement project. Cody did a great job bringing our vision to life with the initial design, Peter was an excellent communicator whenever we had questions about the project and Jarrett and Dan were excellent workers who were very timely and thorough (and also accommodating to answering our curious kids' questions) throughout the entire process. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They took the time to understand our vision for the deck and made sure that the final product was exactly what we wanted. Johnny and his colleague did an excellent job on our front patio deck. They were in and out in 4 days- always on time, polite, thorough. Went above and beyond in cleaning up some extra materials/yard scraps too. The quality is excellent and the overall look adds to our home. Cody was great as our initial contact. He walked us through the options and design. I would definitely work with Denver Deck Builders again.
