Dependable Appliance Service

They are supposed to be authorized by Frigidaire to perform warranty service. Their customer service is terrible. You are not going to be dealing with trustworthy people.They don’t answer their phones. I have been waiting for over a month for a part for my new refrigerator under warranty. They gave me some baloney story about the part not being available anymore which was either a lie or shows how incompetent and dishonest they are. They don’t even have a store front. It’s most likely a person that works out of their house in Staten Island claiming to be a reputable business. On another note, I was in the business of fixing refrigerators when I was in my 20s.The business of appliance repairs is a total rip off waiting to happen. This has been, without question, the worst customer service and repair experience I have ever dealt with. I purchased a brand-new Frigidaire refrigerator and it completely stopped working in under 60 days. As a result, I lost over $600 worth of food and medication, only to be told that Frigidaire “does not cover food loss.” That alone shows a complete lack of care for customers. Frigidaire then sent Dependable Appliance, and the nightmare only got worse. I waited all day for the technician, who spent literally 5 seconds looking at the refrigerator before saying a part needed to be ordered. After that? No communication. No follow-up. No accountability. I called Dependable multiple times to find out when the technician would return — no answers, no updates. Dependable and Frigidaire hides

If I could give 0 stars or even minus stars I would. They are the most unprofessional and unorganized company I ever had to work with. They never respond to texts, emails or phone calls. Don't waste your time leaving voicemails because it clearly goes into a black hole. Someone came for less than 30 seconds and said I need to order a part and the company has yet to respond to any and all communication after almost 30 days. Do not waste your time, money or energy. I don't understand how a company like Electrolux partner with horrible businesses like this one. I probably will stop buying Electrolux/Frigidaire because their repair service is just the absolute worst.

I would give NEGATIVE FIVE IF I COULD! I cannot begin to express how unprofessional and unreliable this company is. Avoid them at all costs. They NEVER came to do my repair despite me paying the repair costs upfront.

This has got to be the worst company in the tri-state area for appliance servicing. The woman answering the phones has the IQ of a rock, and the same childish attitude as my 3 year old daughter. She had a temper tantrum on the phone with me and then just hung up. Maybe she was having a bad morning, but it's more likely she's just incapable of doing her job, or any job honestly (this job was probably given to her by her family). Would like to see if she's this tough and disrespectful in person, or she just feels really powerful and important behind the phone. Avoid this place like the plague and pray for the woman answering the phones, she needs all the prayers she can get.
