Design Center East

Design Center East guided us through designing and updating a bathroom for my elderly father. From choosing fixtures, flooring and lighting to helping get the budget and the project right where we were happy and it was successfully completed in a timely fashion, Design Center East came through for us. BJ’s knowledge and experience really helped us create a bathroom which will help keep my Dad at home. It is now walker and wheel chair friendly, the flooring is no longer a fall risk that had tile pieces missing and easy to trip on. The strategic grab bars and comfort height toilet is a huge safety improvement. We have a 200 year old house and BJ’s crew including Ryan, Xavier, Jimmy and others navigated through very old pipes and other materials that I’m sure are an extra challenge to work

Design Center East just completed a full bathroom remodel for us. From the moment we arrived at the showroom to begin the planning process the staff was welcoming and professional. BJ and the crew arrived when they said they would arrive and did quality work. The estimated time to complete the work was two weeks - it was completed two weeks from the demo day! We could not be happier with our experience with Design Center East and with our beautiful new bathroom!

I paid for a new kitchen floor and my bathroom to be remodeled. The bathroom was taken down to the studs. The problems started when it was time to sheetrock. Delay after delay. The whole project started August 12, 2024 and was supposedly done on September 21, 2024. Very shoddy sheetrock job. I can see the seams, I can see the bumps of screws, there is pitting, and one 90 degree angle needs more compound and sanding. The sheetrock person then painted over the shoddy work. I ran my finger over one bump and paint peeled off. There is paint on the window panes. The door now sticks because of the paint on door. There is paint on the hinges, outlet, and lighting fixture. Design Center East is simply the best. They installed a walking in shower after removing a jacuzzi tub and we couldn’t be happier with finished product. The workers were very professional and respectful of us and our property. The owner BJ is very laid back, easy going and a joy to work with. His no pressure attitude is very refreshing. BJ is very knowledgeable and always ready to answer and address any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend Design Center East for your bathroom renovation needs.
