Diamondback Redi-Mix

Hired Diamondback to pour concrete for my driveway and had a great experience. It was my first time and they were very patient with me over the phone and answered all my questions before scheduling. They were ready to dispatch within 24 hour notice and were flexible with rescheduling if needed. The only thing to keep in mind was that my contractor said that the concrete dried up quicker than what he’s used to. Not sure if it was a fast drying concrete or if it could have been due to how hot it was that day (90 degrees). Ordered 3 cubic yards of 5,000 psi concrete. Could have used 4-4.5K psi but opted for the higher strength since I wasn’t using gravel (just reusing some old broken up concrete) layered with a steel mesh. The delivery guy Mark was really nice and helpful. It turned out nice

We initially ordered 1 yard of 4000 psi a few days ago but decided last minute that it needs to be 1.5 yard so we called at 7am of the same day that it's going to be dispatched. The truck came, with an invoice that said 1.5 yard and we paid in cash, but only 1 yard was delivered. The truck driver said that they made a mistake and will go back to get more. We waited for an hour for the truck to come back then called and Steve, the person that we spoke to, insist that they put in 1.5 yard into the truck and that they are not coming back to deliver the half yard. He did not even at least have the courtesy to call us about it! STEVE LIED! It was not 1.5 yard at all! They either made a mistake in only putting 1 yard or they just cheated us the half yard!!! This Place is NOT to be trusted!!!! Steve the manager LIED!! We paid for 1.5 yards and only received 1 yard. I had to mix my own concrete to finish the job. I spend another $300 bucks and 3 hours labor!! Do NOT do business with this scammer!!

Today I used Diamondback Redi-Mix for my cement needs. This company was GREAT!! Cement Mix was perfect, truck was on time, driver Ricardo was professional ! Even the truck was clean and new! Today's experience with Diamondback was beyond my expectations for all their professionalism from start to finish!! Therefore, I would definitely recommend them without hesitation!! I promise, you will be more than satisfied!!
