I can’t speak highly enough about Phil and his team. A previously decommissioned drywell on my property decided to cave in (lucky me), revealing a large hole which needed to be backfilled quickly for safety reasons. I called Phil to help and he showed up same day, provided a very reasonable price for the job and had the work done within 48 hours of my call. Without being asked to do so, he went the extra mile to make sure the finished product blended in perfectly with the surrounding flowerbeds: matching the soil / mulch etc. His team also somehow left no marks whatsoever on the lawn despite hauling 7-8 tons of gravel across it. I recently had Diiorio Landscaping bury a 500 gallon propane tank for a generator and trench over 50ft for a gas line to a new gas fireplace. I would highly recommend them for any excavating/landscaping work. I originally was going to use another vendor but was having trouble scheduling, then turned to Phil as he came recommended from the gas company. Phil came out to my house the next day and got the full job done 1 week later, amidst a very busy time for his business. He coordinated the communication between the gas company and town for inspections. People told me it would be a 1 week process, but Phil and his team came in on a Tuesday, buried the tank and trenched, had the town out Wednesday morning for inspection, and backfilled everything that afternoon. I recently used Diiorio Landscaping and Excavating to excavate and install a 1000 gallon propane tank at my house and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Phil Diiorio and his team came recommend to me by an industry professional who regarded him as one of the neater, more professional excavators. I bid this excavation job out to five local excavators and ultimately awarded it to Phil for a number of reasons including fair price, communication throughout process, questions he asked / things he pointed out, and reputation. Phil was on time and got the job done on time, including breaking through a serious amount of rock ledge, to keep the overall project on schedule. We hired Phil Diiori to excavate everything required for the installation of a generator and burial of a 500 gallon propane tank. We had a particularly challenging site due to the enormous amount of ledge, and ultimately the only viable site to bury the propane tank was on a slope. Phil had a lot of knowlege about what would be required--depth of tank, trenches for electric, etc. He helped us determine the best location. Phil was onsite with his crew, making sure that everything was done as discussed. He even placed large boards down to catch what was dug up in order to preserve as much of our lawn as possible.
