Discount Lumber and Truss

We bought a building package through Discount Lumber and had it built in the fall of 2019. The following Spring all of the trim around our 12’ doors buckled and we waited almost 2 years for the builder to come fix it. We finally decided to repair it ourselves and when I went to buy the new metal Mike heard me talking to the counter guy and took my address and actually came to look at the trim. He told me the correct way to fix it and what materials I needed and had them ran right away. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our building. I would recommend purchasing your building package and building supplies from Discount Lumber! Wonderful company to deal with.

Went in looking for lumber to make a raised bed, big box stores are price gouging! I was able to purchase 4x6x10' for $9! Now have the best raised bed in my neighborhood, and they were very helpful and also cut rebar to length for 1/4 the price of home depot. They had the hardware to make my project effortless! I cannot recommend enough, at least stopping by to see what they have!

I built my grandson a tree house. With the price of lumber I could have never done it. Thanks to discount lumber I did it for half the price. My grandson is very happy.

We downed a couple of fir trees, ourselves and found ourselves in our first homeowners claim. Which was a prolonged nightmare! We didn't have any problems with our insurance company, but contractors were another story! Dealing with Mike Hellman was an absolute needed pleasure! He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and the right materials were ordered. We had one delay after another. Yet Mike honored his original price quote on our metal roofing, months later even though construction costs continued to rise! I cant thank everyone at Discount enough. I went in looking for metal roofing and supplies. The GM Mike helped me figure out everything we needed. When it came time to finalize the order Mike happened to be out of the office and we were on a time crunch. The Manager Chris stepped in to help and was amazing. He and everyone in the metal shop made our order happen. The staff is so nice and helpful. I will definitely be going back when we need more materials.
