I was taking my brother to a concert the next day, and that night realized that a tire on his wheelchair was split off. The other was also in bad shape with cracks. When I called Discount Mobility, the owner Jim (who offers 24 hour service) suggested I bring it to his shop right away. I met him at 8:30pm. He replaced both tires, adjusted the brakes and inflated the front tires as well. 90 minutes later I was at home with a workable wheelchair to transport my brother safely. Jim was helpful, generous and knowledgeable. I'd recommend him to anyone with a wheelchair problem.

They have a great selection here, it seems like they have "everything" if you will. Cash or check, is my understanding. I got what i needed same day prior to a major surgery and was very grateful for that.

I wonder if people truly realize the power of small business? The owner is a true treasure. A man whose heart is to help. My daughter & I came to visit for help with something she needed. We left feeling like we made a friend & prayer warrior in our corner. He's truly a treasure. Call to make an appointment before hand. This man has decades of knowledge, kindness, and gentleness. Thank you does not express what you did for us by being there that day. Beyond helping you brought my daughter & I true comfort. We're sitting at the hospital waiting for surgery. I'm still in tears over your kindness.

First...business salesperson/owner tone puts me on alert. This is a one man shop from him running errands to working on items and answering phone calls. My roommate got her mobility scooter from her younger sister who is now confined to a wheelchair and she gave her older sister this 12 yr old mobility scooter than I had completely serviced last year. Flash fast forward to last week the scooter quit running. Repair shops are starting to pick and choose what they want to choose to work on and if they sold it to u...then they will work on it. I guess there are more disability people than I thought there are. And as usual...I assembled the unit and in a flash...it magically started to operate. I went from shock to stunned cause the owner was quick to state: we have a minimum fee for service.

Jim was kind, attentive to my questions, and mechanically efficient in repairing a bearing on my walker; he spent additional time adjusting brakes and checking the bearings on my other wheels. All this, despite a negative evaluation from AI, due to two negative reviews and some 80 positive reviews. I’ve used his services twice now, appreciated his prompt repair both times!
