I recently had Dobson’s Chimney rebuild a chimney for me. I got three different quotes, and they were very competitive on pricing. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. If you’re considering a chimney repair, it’s probably not as bad as you think — I highly recommend giving them a call and getting a quote.

Dobson did some work for me, a few years back. It took months to get an appointment with them. I originally called them to have my chimney re-flashed. They came out and quoted me, for what I thought was re-grouting the chimney, that I did not ask for and flashing. After said work was done, the chimney was not re-flashed. I called and asked why it was not re-flashed and the person I spoke with acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. So they sent a younger guy out to re-flash the chimney and charged me more money. So what I initially thought was gonna cost me like $400 for the re-flashing actually cost me about $2800. All for a chimney that's not being used for heating. The $2800 flashing looks horrible. I would not do business with them again!

Roger has come out and done multiple things for us this summer and to say his work is impressive is an understatement. First and foremost he was on time and did a great review of our house to point out any additional items we might need fixed and quoted us a great price. We ended up needing our mortar redone on a few window sills and then 2 walls. Roger completed this fast and so well we can’t tell where the old mortar ends and the new mortar starts! He even took the time to teach me about owning an old brick house and some better ways to care for it. 5/5 stars isn’t enough!

Very quick and professional tear down and re-installation from this company on my decrepit chimney! Pleased with the price and the completion. Great communication as well!

Many years ago, I utilized Dobson for a unique project, and I just realized I never finished my review. I was truly impressed by their communication, fair pricing, and transparency regarding what would or wouldn’t work. Roger was fantastic at helping me turn my ideas into reality. I’ve contacted them for other minor tasks, and their honesty ensured I didn’t spend money unnecessarily. We hope to embark on more projects with them soon; based on my past experiences, I wouldn’t even consider another company! Plus, they are locally owned and family-run, which is a bonus.
