I’ve had Dr Fixit clean my sewer line several times and also a major repair on my tap connection to the city lines, and I have always found them to be punctual and more importantly very straightforward about what’s needed and the costs involved. Most recently this crew replaced 50+feet of sewer line.

Nate from Doctor Fix It! came out yesterday to repair our kitchen faucet. It was 10 years old so I expected that a new faucet would be the best solution. Nate very quickly dissembled our faucet and replaced some parts. He was going to have to order another replacement part when the problem was not solved. I asked him for the costs of repair vs replacement. Neither were inexpensive options. I decided to go with a new faucet. Nate went out and purchased a standard faucet as I had requested. He professionally removed our old faucet. In no time at all, he had the new faucet installed. It works so much better than our old faucet that I knew I had made the best decision. Without going into the long story, I was told my heater wouldn’t reach my set temperature because my system was too small and I needed to upgrade it, which would’ve cost $10k or more. Refusing to believe it, I used AI and discovered the dirtiest filter I’ve ever seen (tech told me that my filter wasn’t dirty, and that a dirty filter wouldn’t be the cause), which also contributed to a dirty flame sensor which I took out and cleaned myself. Heater has been working perfectly ever since. Always get a second opinion, or trust your gut.

Dr Fix-it never disappoints! I’ve used them many times in the past and they always do a great job! This time it was for a kitchen sink repair and they came through again with fine work. Barry the tech is very personable and experienced and explains everything thoroughly and works methodically until the job is done. I had a very disappointing experience with this plumbing company today. To start, the technician admitted he didn’t have the right size wrench to access the main line in our basement, which was already concerning and wonder why he didn’t have the right tool’s to do a job. As I started to head upstairs, I suddenly heard footsteps in the kitchen — only to find a second technician had let himself into our home without knocking or ringing the doorbell!! I was shocked and highly upset. I immediately let him know that entering someone’s home uninvited is completely unacceptable, rude, and disrespectful. His response was a casual, “Sorry, my bad,” which only added to my frustration. He seemed completely unfazed by how inappropriate the situation was. Obviously, he was brought up with no manners
