Don's Carpet One Floor & Home

I have to say Don's Carpet One and Joseph Plaxco are the best! I didn't have to do nothing but pick out the flooring. Joseph came to my house with various samples for me to choose from and saved me a trip for driving to the store. Professionalism and caring throughout the process. The pricing was much better than Lowe's so I added another floor project for my stairway with new carpet. I highly recommend Don's Carpet One and ask for Joseph Plaxco while you're at it!

Couldn't be more pleased how the Vestavia team handled our project from start to finish. Joe was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He made a special effort to visit our home and measure our project the same day. We ordered materials with a delayed install so we could prep the floors ourself and save money. The two gentlemen that performed the install arrived on time and were very respectful. The install only took a couple of hours and they made sure to clean everything thoroughly. Communication throughout the entire project was superb. Joe called immediately after the install to follow up and get feedback on the project. Very pleased with the results and we will definitely use Don's One for my next flooring project. Thanks Joe.

Don’s was a great choice for us when we wanted to have our old, cracked LVP changed out to a thicker laminate product that would be more durable. We got quotes from multiple companies with similar costs for labor, so for us, it came down to the material and service. Don’s had a great selection and we felt really drawn to one of their in-house products that was only available through Carpet One. The staff was incredibly helpful and flexible, specifically Khristy and Joe, who made sure that we got the best price by working with us to meet our budget. They walked us through the financing process and made it very easy. I used these people for new kitchen cabinets & wood floors and my experience was extremely disappointing. Keep in mind, it was a big project, at least to me. We spent over $50.000.00 in cabinets and thousands for the floors. The cabinet design had several shortfalls that did not come to light until installation and the cabinet installers did not seem interested in trying to please the customer and were only interested in getting finished as quickly as possible. Additionally, the door leading to our new hidden pantry was apparently something the designer had no experience with as it looks like an afterthought designed by a DIYer. She knew exactly what to recommend and kept us informed on the status of our project. Our stair runner is gorgeous! And what made this experience even better was our lovely installers.
