Flavio and David from Doran Mechanical and Plumbing were amazing! They were on time and communicative; they quickly diagnosed and fixed the plumbing issue; they literally cleaned up and disinfected everything which was so awesome because I thought I was going to have to do that cleaning after they left… but they took care of everything and left my apartment clean. They were professional and respectful. Thanks, guys!

We had this company replace a cast iron waste stack in our condo! The condo association hired them! They were very professional and very neat and organized every one of the workers were very knowledgeable and helpful to resolve the issue! I own a plumbing and HVAC company in another state and would high recommend this company! Keep up the great work the owner should be proud of all of the employees that worked on this project!

I had a team of two guys to replace my sink fixtures. They came to look at it and said they didn’t have the parts with them so would have to go to there warehouse in Cambridge. I live in downtown Boston. It was a basic, brushed nickel sink—something you’d hope would be in the truck or at least call ahead to the warehouse to make sure they had it in stock. When they hadn’t returned in 90 minutes I called to see what was going on. They couldn’t find the part in the warehouse and so they drove to Home Depot in Somerville. This little trip took a total of 3 hours. For two workers. That’s 6 man-hours. So while I was pleased with the quality of their work (and they were also personable and pleasant) I was disappointed that their boss was unwilling to negotiate with me on those extra hours. The b

Used them for a simple repair, can't comment on their rough or finish work, but have a feeling they avoid it in favor of "emergency service". 1. quick. 5 stars 2. capable 4 stars 3. communicative 4 stars 4. hit n run prices 1 star So 3 .5 stars. They could still earn a fantastic living if they relaxed their bills by 25%. It's a free country and noones holding a gun to your head to use them (unless you're in a condo association) but I know contractors well enough to know that Billy Doran is one of those plumbers who doesn't really like his trade, but does it just to earn a living.
