We scheduled a repair for our water heater. They came and flushed it out and then replaced a piece that was apparently broken. In the middle of it he said he needed a new tool at harbor freight and would be back. He was gone for one hour and was told I would not be charged for that time. I reviewed and signed the bill and the hour he was gone was removed from the invoice. I agreed to $577 (a rip off as is). The next day the credit card charge came in including the hour he was gone $747 (an extra $170). I provided video proof that he was gone and that he stayed in my driveway before and after the service to rack up the time on the gps meter. Douglass Orr Plumbing is an outstanding company. I hired them for multiple projects, and every step of the process was handled with professionalism and top-tier craftsmanship. They installed a tankless water heater, coordinated and recommended the electrical upgrades needed for my panel, and installed an outdoor shower with hot water . They also removed and replaced PVC lines with copper, reinstalled exterior connections in copper, replaced all shut-off valves, ran a new water line to the front of the house, and rerouted all water and drain lines so I could install a stacked washer and dryer.
