Dougs Appliance Repair

Our upper over died the week before Thanksgiving. I called Doug and he came within two days. The lower heat element had died and he ordered it while at our house. It came in two days later and Doug called , came out at the time he said he would, and installed the element. Great service!!

I called Doug’s Appliance Repair when my washer stopped working. I described the problem, brand and style. Not only was Doug professional in letting me know that the repair was not worth it, but he gave me a recommendation for a better quality replacement. Doug will be my first phone call and recommendation to anyone.

I had a mixed experience with this technician Doug He arrived on time and seemed knowledgeable, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed with his assessment of my dryer. After I had taken it apart to replace the heating element, he put everything back together and told me I needed a new dryer, quoting me over $800 for repairs. He claimed he didn’t like the wiring but didn’t provide any specifics when I asked for clarification. I felt that he was quick to dismiss my issue without offering a proper solution other then “you need a new dryer “ After he left, I managed to find the heating element for just $90 and installed it myself, successfully fixing my dryer. While he charged me for his service, I didn't feel like I got my money’s worth. Again great guy, very knowledgeable etc b

Doug is honest, open, and always willing to help someone however he can. Knowing it would cost more for me to have him fix my washer, he helped me find a quality replacement without charging me for the help. His communication is thoughtful, timely and helpful. I recommend hiring Doug for anything appliance repair related!

Before Doug came to my house, he asked some questions about my Freezer and told me where my manufacturing date was. Turns out, this Freezer is 18 years old and not worth fixing. Didn’t cost me a dollar. Honesty is a wonderful policy. Thanks Doug.
