Terrence (technician) was exceptional. Cordial, knowledgeable and explained everything. Did a very thorough job of solving the problem and providing maintenance. Service cost was higher than expected, but sometimes you get what you pay for. In my case, peace of mind that my heating was fixed properly, is safe and operating at optimal efficiency.

Alex did a very thorough job with my annual HVAC maintenance service. In addition, he was very helpful in facilitating my request for service to replace my dryer vent. Dowd is an exceptional company with excellent customer service.

I found Dowd Mechanical online based on their Google Reviews (Bensalem location). My Goodman AC unit failed after 21 years (compressor died). He checked the indoor and outdoor unit. He provided me two options (he never tried to up sell anything). He gave me a good discount since it was off-season and also 36 months 0% APR financing. The installation people were friendly and respectful to the property. They installed everything correctly without rushing. They even fixed little things like condenser pump location and added a electric plug next to the furnace for easy access. These guys delivered more than they promised. They also offer me 1 free spring AC tune up. I can definitely recommend Dowd to anyone. I hope they keep doing quality work with reasonable price for a long time.

We’ve been with Dowd since 2020 and have been satisfied with their service. Austin was the technician for our most recent maintenance check up and he was excellent. Explained everything, showed us how to check filters throughout the house in our dehumidifiers, and provided helpful feedback. Highly recommend.

I have used Dowd Mechanical Heating and AC for probably greater then 20 years for both a fall check up on my heater and a spring checkup for my AC every year. They keep my units in great working order. Howard was at my hse on 9/14/23. He arrived on time for my appointment and even called me to let me know he was on his way. He was polite and respectful.
