Jimmy installed a new furnace for me. He was professional & efficient. He had to do some fabrication to hook it to the existing duct work. The fabrication looks great. The furnace works great & you wouldn't know he was there after he finished. His price was fair & I highly recommend him.

Jim came out professionally and efficiently to our Cabin in Belfast !! Our furnace went out in November and Jim came out and order a furnace right away and it was installed within 5 days ! Jim is coming back to install our air conditioning unit as well ! Amazing clean work ! I would recommend James in the southern tier !!

We had been experiencing issues with our furnace for awhile, and had been trying for a year to a quote from another repairman. On Saturday, the furnace started smelling awful. Called the repairman, who wouldn't come out. I emailed Dowd & Sons on Sunday and received a reply within an hour. He came out Monday to check on the furnace, got one ordered and set up the appt to put it in. However, early on Wednesday morning our Carbon Monoxide detector went off so we were without heat. My husband sent Jim a text around 7:30, within ten minutes he had called back to let us know that he had rearranged his schedule and was heading to Rochester to get our furnace, and it would be installed that afternoon. Jim was quick to respond to an emergency situation of needing heat and furnace repair. Arrived, assessed, explained the issue and completed the job with knowledge and ease. Pricing was absolutely more than fair and reasonable. Highly recommend!!
