Drew's Total Lawns

We contracted with Drew’s total lawns to remove the leaves from our property. On Tuesday 22 December 2020, drew came out to perform the work. I received a text from the owner stating the job was complete and that he would be sending a bill. I received the bill a few moments later and proceeded to pay the bill in good faith that the work had been completed. I arrived home at approximately 9:00 pm. That evening to find the yard a complete mess. I immediately took several pictures and sent them to the owner and expressed my dissatisfaction. He responded that he agreed some of the work was done poorly but also stated that it was windy and cold that day and hard to get all the leaves up. They cut my grass one week before they did the aeration and seeding, now my grass can’t be cut for 3 weeks which means I will have one month of grass growth before I can get a cut. They did not use any insecticide, did not dethatch my entire yard only a very small area. The guys were in a hurry and acted as if they didn’t know about the contractual agreement and was only there to aerate and seed with my seed. Drew told me he would cut my lawn down very low before he performed the services I complained about services not rendered and he said I was being disrespectful because i said honesty is the best policy, because I watched those guys the whole time they were in my yard and I know exactly what they did and was not willing to pay for services not done.
