I ordered high quality carpet for my staircases at home. Doug measured and made extremely helpful suggestions to get the best possible appearance. His price for cutting, binding and installation far undercut my old dealer. I will use him again for re-carpeting my business space.

Had an issue with a dishonest flooring store in Hackettstown and Nancy came to my rescue. I ordered 402 sq. ft. from Hackettstown flooring store, but my order ended up delayed indefinitely (and H'town Flooring tried NOT to give me a refund) Nancy at Dug's Rugs answered my call and presented me with hardwood options via text within 1/2 hour. Three hours later, I purchased a beautiful floor. Nancy and Doug were efficient and personable. Dugs Rugs prices are competitive and they are HONEST! I would highly recommend you try them. AND.... if you find anything you like that they don't carry, Nancy can get it for you at a great price. I Love Love Love them!!!!!!

What a great place to buy carpeting! We had carpet installed in our whole upstairs by Dug’s. They were very professional from beginning to end. Very pleasant couple to do business with. You can count on them to do what they say. We are very happy with our new carpet, the installation and and the overall experience we had doing business with Dug’s.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Shotty craftsmanship at best and horrible customer service. Room transitions were going to be a challenge due to existing sub-floor, but zero effort was made to make them fluid. Rather than using an extended transition and building a little slope/ramp the installers created dangerous trip hazards by leaving them as distinguished lips. Trim work installed in front of brick fireplace is the most amateur work I have ever seen. Approximate 10' of trim on the face of the fireplace...Most would just use one length. Instead they installed a 4 1/2' piece - a 1' piece - and another 4 1/2' piece. It looks completely ridiculous and like they used scraps to complete the job. I would expect horrible quality if using leftover materials installed by a rookie handyman, but to spe
