Non communicative. Could be a great repairman but he won't answer his phone. I made initial contact and he agreed to repair our dishwasher. Could never get ahold of him after that.

I bought a house and the dryer that came with it wouldn’t start. I have never needed a dryer repairman before and tried Durkin since they are close to Media. They were fantastic! Arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly. Explained what was wrong and how to fix it if it happens again. The price for the call was extremely reasonable. Would call Durkin again for problems with any appliance.

Durkin Appliance Services is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and WILL NOT break your wallet! They go above and beyond to provide prompt, adequate, and cost-effective services. The first time I needed help was the day before Thanksgiving last year. I have an old GE front-loading stacked unit. The drum’s belt snapped, and the local appliance parts store said they weren’t able to order the belt that I needed. I called Durkin and spoke to his wife, who was extremely helpful and friendly 😊. I was not expecting them to offer to come out the same day, and was VERY grateful to them. They gave me a call 10mins prior to their arrival to let

Reading the other one star reviews, they must be correct. He came out to see if our dishwasher could be repaired and spent about 15 minutes looking at everything. He said the "floater cup" had gotten stuck and that he had repaired it (not replaced). While this was going on, his wife was there, playing with our cat. She then handed me a bill for $145.00. When we started up the dishwasher later that day, it had the same problem as before - made noise but didn't run water through. I called Durkin and, just like some of the other reviewers, he never returned my calls but promptly cashed our check. Durkin is indeed a scammer. I'll report also to the BBB.
