Durwood Davis Well Drilling

I don’t even know where to start. We are getting our house built in Henderson and was recommended to try Davis. I wish we hadn’t. It has been a freaking merry go round with these people. My husband first contacted them and scheduled with the receptionist a few months ago. We never heard from them a few weeks later so he tried calling them again. Their main phone line is always ringing, no one picks up. Once Davis picked up the phone he said the receptionist is going through some kind of illness which we understand things happen. Well then we never heard from them. My husband even went to their property a few times and they kept giving him excuses. Said they would come this week and call, never came, never called. Finally the last time my husband went by there, Davis gave him a cell number,

We called Durwood around 1pm. He was here by 2. He was done by 4:30. He serviced our well 13 years ago as well. He was quick and efficient then and he was just as quick and efficient today. He knows his stuff. Thank you Durwood and your relative who helped you.

When my well quit working, I called Mr. Davis on recommendation from a company in Raleigh. He quickly arrived with his crew. They got right to work and fixed numerous issues (pump wiring, bad tank switch, bad check valve, etc.) some caused by a shoddy pump installation by someone else. They explained/educated and showed me everything throughout the process. It was amazing to see them at work - they really know their profession. Now I understand my well much better, and may even save on my power bill. The cost for all this work was MUCH less than I expected - I was happily surprised. These guys are thorough, honest professionals. Highly recommended. I'll never use anyone else.

Mr. Davis came to my house a couple of years ago and we wound up replacing my well pump, at my request. Very knowledgeable and informative and really no pressure. I had a question about drilling my well deeper or drilling a new one and spoke with Mr. Davis again and he provided great information. Once again, no pressure, like you would get from a friend. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone I know.

I had a great experience working with this company. After my initial call, Durwood and his helper came out the next day and was able to replace my well pump as well as the PVC piping leading down to the pump, which was almost 300' down. I would have spent $1000 more had I gone with the initial company I called.
