Okay, here is the truth based upon my experience. They are big on safety. When I got bite by a tick and my arm got an infection they took care of me quickly. However, being a flagger is harder than you think. When I first started working there I was told that you had to pee outside. After making a call to the office the crew was then provided a car to go use the facilities. If you work there you need to be thick skin not care what the other Flaggers say and know that you will be gone traveling.

I was traveling from Big Sky, MT to Ennis, MT where Dustrol had a team of men working on a remote section of road through Yellowstone Park. My truck broke down right in the middle of their construction zone. No cell service, woman traveling alone. These guys jumped to it, got my truck off the road, and me to a safe place! Bought asphalt millings. They did not spread them out or drop them where instructed. Now we have to figure out a way to spread them before it tears up all our vehicles undercarriages.
