EA Knight Construction in our opinion is the premier contractor in Southern Illinois. Glen came out in February 2024, gave us a quote and told us that the earliest they could start was in January 2025. We did go with them and so glad we did, the wait was worth it. We had the team of Mark, Dave, Drew, and Jason, who all did an outstanding job. Communication was efficient, as the administrative staff in the office were equally organized and professional. They did everything on the bid plus when we wanted another thing added the answer from Mark was, "always, no problem". Marc Wade and his crew, David, Drew and Jason, have worked for us renovating a bathroom and our living room and dining room over the past few months. They have also finished trim work in our kitchen, installed cabinetry in the laundry, finished a second bath and completely rebuilt a garage to rec room conversion that included raising the ceiling and wall and ceiling teak installation. They have, in every instance, provided the highest quality of workmanship and courteous service. Our projects have been challenging given the "old school" designs we called out, but they have listened to us carefully and executed the plan exactly as we requested. You will find no one better than Drew to install porcelain tile to perfection, no one more exacting and creative than David to do finely detailed

My family needed a bit of deck repairs due to a rotted post, and some rotted floor joists that had deteriorated over the years. E.A. Knight was able to come out in a few days after notifying them to come help out with the rebuild. We were happy since the eclipse was soon approaching and would have company over. They arrived on time to start the job and worked fast as a team to get the work completed. They were able to complete this small job in less than 1 day which was great! The repairs are perfectly made using treated lumber. They even left a little bit of lumber we were able to use for a few bad duckboards. They were also able to remove the old debris from the property. This company is great for large or small jobs as they also built this house about 15 years ago. Thank you for the h
