East Coast Metal Distributors

As a homeowner, this is extremely frustrating. We have been without AC for a month now, and the HVAC company we use has been told at least 4 times by East Coast that the evaporator coil we need, a WARRANTY repair, has been shipped. When no part shows up and we call back, the HVAC company gets the same story. TAKE THE PART OUT OF A NEW UNIT if it's not in stock. Homeowners have zero options with this industry. The manufacturers only deal with distributors, the distributors deal with the HVAC companies, and we're left sitting in a house without AC in the middle of the summer in the south. A little honesty and transparency would go a long way.

Picked up a unit from this supplier and that was the worst mistake I could have made. Unfortunately, the home warranty company ordered a unit from these guys or we would never have went there in the first place. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen first they sold us a unit with no Freon in it. Bad condenser coil right out of the box. Then we try to warranty the unit and they make the customer sit another week without air-conditioning because they don’t want to warranty their piece of junk out unless someone buys a new unit from them. Then, instead of them allowing us to pick the unit up at a closer location they tell us we have to go all the way to North Charlotte. I would suggest nobody ever buying from this place. Worst customer service I have ever seen.

Bad experience! Bad customer service, it's like going in to Bojangles and ordering food. Not educated employees!
