Excellent company to work with. Completed a landscape redesign in Rocky Gap for my wife and I. Ryan was prompt and professional from his first visit to completion of project!

We hired East River Landscapes LLC August 2023 to remove old shrubbery and landscape our yard with new plants. After waiting several months they did finally complete the job satisfactorily, at that time. We were told the work and plant life was guaranteed for 1 year. By October all 6 bushes/trees placed in our backyard plus one small bush on the side were dead. This was reported to Ryan who said he would come and check them. We never heard back from him regarding his so called visit. We have called and left messages numerous times over the past 10 months with no response. It appears this company does not back their guarantee. We are out a great deal of money with a backyard of dead trees. I do not recommend someone who does not honor his warranty.

I’ve worked with many independent contractors and have had many show up hours late and even no show for scheduled appointments The first thing that stood out to me about East River Landscapes is he shows up on time for his appointments. The most recent job we did was installing 18 privacy trees in my back yard. The trees he brought looked Much healthier than the same style trees Lowe’s and Home Depot had. Ryan charged a very reasonable price to do the install and spent a lot of time making sure the placement was correct on each tree while planting. They turned out great. My only Regret is I wish we would have done it sooner!

I contacted Ryan at about 6PM on Monday evening and he was at my house at 7:45 the same evening to give me a free estimate. I had never met him or seen any of his work but decided to give him a chance. He was at my house at the set time of 10am on Saturday morning to begin the landscaping job requested. At the end of the day, we were 100% satisfied with the job completed on that day. At that time, we decided to ask him to perform another job that he is currently working on this weekend. Once he completes this project, we plan to add one final job for him. A few of my neighbors also thought he did such a great job on our landscaping project that he is now putting them on his schedule to make there yard look as good as mine!! Thanks Ryan!!

We had an excellent experience with East River Landscapes. I appreciated the quick response to my first message and prompt communication continued throughout the entire job. He listened to what we wanted, then offered suggestions which we very much appreciated. He was professional, courteous and took pride in his work. We could not be happier with the results and all at a fair price. We have already booked him for another landscaping job.
