EC Hardwood Flooring

The floors turned out wonderful. They came on time and started work right away to quickly identify any areas that needed more attention. As it turned out there was a gray stain that remained after sanding. George gave me two options of replacing wood or staining the entire floor. I chose wood replacement and it is seamless. I cannot tell where it was replaced. He also replaced the quarter round trim around the fireplace hearth without me asking as he noticed it was not in great shape. Everyone who sees the floors says they are gorgeous. I'm getting ready to sell my house and the realtor recommended not putting any furniture back as the floors are beautiful.

A recent water leak in our baseboard heating system caused warping in a 100 sq ft section of our oak flooring. We assumed a rip/replace job would be required on this section, so we called EC Hardwood Flooring for an estimate. George came over to have a look later that day. His expert opinion was: 1. the warping was not as bad as we thought, 2. a heater/dehumidifier would dry out the floor boards - just give it a couple weeks, and 3. after drying, the floor should be sanded & refinished and it would be fully restored. George refinished our floors 9 months ago. He and his crew did an excellent job. Our 1931 home was in desperate need of refinished floors - especially in the kitchen. Everyone who saw our old floors comments on how nice the floor looks now. We've even been told that it looks like we remodeled our home. He replaced an unsightly metal vent on the floor and repaired a hole that was made years ago for a phone line. The hole is gone and the repair is completely seamless. He also helped give us advice on how to manage the moving of our upright piano during the floor refinishing and regularly communicated with us before and after the work.

I highly recommend George without hesitation! This is our 3rd time having George and his team helping us with flooring. When my DIY home project went sideways, I called up George immediately. He was able to find time very quickly to help us with both powder room and kitchen tile installation. When I saw the tiny tile cut around the kitchen corner on day 2, I know my new flooring would be beautiful with such precision from the team! (shout- out to Ruslan too) George even went above and beyond to help us getting our new vanity into the powder room. Again, very professional owner/team with very reasonable price.

George did a wonderful job installing new hardwood floor to fill in the gap in the existing hardwood floor. He asked questions and proposed various solutions so the installation would look seamless and match the existing flooring as much as possible. He also correctly identified the flooring that allowed us to get the exact match. He was very responsive after the quote. He was quick and very considerate the installation day.
