I am so happy I called ECI for a generator quote. It is a great family business that cares about their customers' needs. I liked that they give a 10 year warranty instead of a 5 year. Their yearly service fee is more than other companies but it includes more. Peter said they don't believe in "nickel and diming" people if something goes wrong, which I appreciate. He answered all my questions and concerns. After a smooth installation, Peter came back to start the generator after the electrical and mechanical inspections were completed. They handled obtaining the permits and monitored when the inspections were completed. He went over the operation and maintenance of the generator, including tips to avoid problems, like spraying to keep ants away in the spring and summer and removing snow

Have been thinking of putting a Generac in for a few years as we’re always losing power out here in the wilds of Chepachet.
