EcoTurf Lawn Care

We decided to invest in a company to help keep our yard healthy and weed free. We have fairly new sod that was installed back in 2019. We were enticed by the program that was offered and the pricing that was given. We paid in full and didn't hear anything for several weeks. We thought someone would come out and look at our yard but that never happened. Our pre spring weed control wasn't put down until almost May. We struggled all summer with weeds and our yard was never green. You never knew when there was an application because there was no set schedule. You would receive a call if you were lucky that they would be out. After every application you would receive a card with a summary of the visit. It usually was always trying to tell us we needed to purchase additional services to correct

New sod third summer. Grass is all bleached looking. Called 4 times and keep saying they will come out. Still havent and it's the middle of April. All my neighbors grass is real green and they have already had to cut it and they dont have a law service! . Paid in full up front every year. Not happy

Eco Turf were servicing our lawn for 3 years now. It was a new construction, so we really started from ground zero. Our lawn is amazing! We couldn't be happier. Eco Turf's service quality and professionalism are beyond anything. Wayne, the owner, came out to evaluate our lawn and offered best options to have it grow weeds free. They always call a day ahead of service. The bill is left by the door. You pay as you go. No pre-payments for a year of service or any other lengthy contacts. Great and honest company! To be clear, I have met very few homeowners thrilled with their lawn service. I have used 4 and have re-signed the one I used 10 years ago to see if they have improved. Wayne Brown's EcoTurf(he is based in Berkley) is the absolute worst! Bar none. Without exception. They completely destroyed the grass we had and blamed in on: 1. Fescue 2. Over watering 3. Uneven ground 4. Poor quality grass seed All of which I bought into and it kept getting worse and worse. Yet, with all of this said, I let him convince me to get it right this year(2022), with an in depth plan to fix it all. So, when I left him a text message last Thursday about the plan and attack and not one to two days went by, but 5 without a response, I cancelled the service on his website. Great company to handle all your lawn care needs. Wayne goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. This is year two with their fertilizer plan and my lawn looks fantastic.
