I had a disappointing experience and ultimately chose not to move forward with this company. Before scheduling the visit, I explained the issue in detail over the phone and was given an estimate with a high end of around $1,000. A technician was sent out and was at my house for about 10 minutes, for which I was charged $147.90, to identify that a radiator valve needed to be replaced. The technician was very friendly. After that visit, I was called by the woman who originally gave me the 1k estimate. She told that the price of the valve had changed from $30 to $240. I asked whether this was a special or hard-to-find part and was told it was not. It’s just a standard 3/4-inch radiator valve. These valves are readily available almost anywhere and can easily be found online for around $30

They worked on our boiler for 6 hours trying to get the airlock out of our 1st floor zone. They couldn't get it done, and the technician said he was at a loss and would try back the next day. Right after he left, we lost both heat and hot water to the entire house. He no-showed the next day. The notoriously rude receptionist said he won't be coming back as our brand new 3 year old boiler was "failing", and they couldn't help, all while insisting upon payment in the same sentence, AND withholding product we already paid for. We waited 3 weeks for that work to start. CALLED JOHNSONS, they came the next day, diagnosed and repaired the issue, all same day. The boiler runs fantastic now. Shouldn't have given Ed's a shot. We have used this company many times always been pleasantly happy until calling for an outlet to be put in and pushed off for a month. Then for the woman on the phone to say they would have never told us it would get done. I was originally told it would be early next week it’s been 3 weeks. CALL SOMEONE ELSE don’t waster your time on this company.

Water heater went out and they were able to get a new one put in same day. Workers, Nick and Ramsey, were great! Right on time, got it swapped out quick and communicated everything I needed to know and answered all questions. We’ve used Ed’s a few times over the years and will continue to use them. Great service and products.

I have used Ed's for HVAC, plumbing, and inspection services. They are reasonably priced, offer great service, and office personnel are easy to communicate with. I highly recommend!
