A Hidden Gem in Downtown Lowell! The Edward Early Jr. Parking Facility at 135 Middlesex Street is truly one of the best-run parking garages I've ever used. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism—thanks to the incredible lady who runs the facility full-time. She is always welcoming, kind, and clearly takes great pride in keeping the place running smoothly. Her friendly demeanor genuinely makes a difference, especially first thing in the morning. Recently, a new gentleman joined the team, and he’s just as impressive. Every morning, without fail, he greets me with a big smile and a positive attitude that sticks with me the rest of the day. Lot just sold something like 1/3rd of their spaces to a hospital. Very difficult, if not impossible, to find a spot now. This is pretty inconvenient as I live in Lowell and pay to park here. This is a municipal lot, the city should prioritize resident parking.

Got a parking ticket even though the parking meters were down in the garage. So where do you want me to go pay? I tried to appeal it but they said I could've gone to other meters in the area but, why not the ones in your garage? Making me pay for something they can not fix, thanks Lowell.

Bad experience all around for monthly parking. Office only open weekday mornings so if your access key breaks on a Friday afternoon you have to wait for a security guard every time you want to leave till Monday. The security guards change constantly so no one will ever know who you are. The security door was broken for the last year so anyone can walk in unobserved and no plans to ever fix it yet they still raised the fees. Also only one woman works in the garage office and makes you feel like you are lucky she lets you park there at all. If she is sick when you need to cancel your card, the office could be closed a week or more, and you will be charged another month non-refundable because YOU didn’t cancel in time, so plan well ahead when you leave. Elevators have not been working since Friday February 7th. It’s now Thursday February 13th. With no parking anyway because of people keeping their vehicles there for months at a time, sometimes you have to park on 5th floor. With moms who have strollers and children, that’s not feasible. Those with asthma or medical conditions it’s no good. It’s a safety issue. We will be reporting this to those that MIGHT care.
