I hired Edwards Plumbing & Heating in 2021 to replace my sewer line from my house to the sidewalk. I was invoiced and paid $9,800 for this work, with the understanding that the full run to the sidewalk had been replaced. Edwards Plumbing excavated to the sidewalk during the 2021 work and replaced the sidewalk afterward, which reinforced the understanding that the sewer line replacement extended to that point. In November 2025, a new blockage occurred. During excavation by a different contractor, it was discovered that Edwards Plumbing had stopped the replacement several feet short of the sidewalk, leaving a section of the original clay pipe in place.
