Alex was great to work with. I called him, he came out a day or two later and scoped out the project. He emailed the proposal later that night. We hashed out a few details and came to an agreement. I made the initial payment to Alex, used to buy the materials that have a long lead time and also to start the work for permitting the changes. The permit applications were submitted a day or two later, and then we waited ~6 weeks for another company to get our power disconnected so Alex and his teammate could rewire everything from the street to a new panel.
