I spoke with the owner, who provided an estimate and told me I would only need to pay a $100 deposit, which I agreed to. However, I faced issues with my apartment, and throughout this time, I was repeatedly reminded about the deposit, making me feel like the company was more focused on my money. When I first reached out to Elite Affordable Movers, I was excited and reassured multiple times that the process would be completely stress-free. My fiancé and I had just purchased our first home and worked countless overtime shifts so that we could afford the luxury of hiring movers.
