I can’t say enough great things about Kyle and Elmwood Bark and Stone! When I called for pricing, they were quick and transparent. I loved the free delivery in West Hartford. They were easy to book with, and the delivery was on time and professional. After having a little trouble getting the firewood to light, I called for advice, and Kyle went above and beyond. He even offered to come by after his workday and help me build the fire in person. He was so kind and patient. It’s rare to find that kind of customer service these days. Highly recommend Elmwood Bark and Stone, and especially Kyle, for anyone looking for quality firewood and truly exceptional service!

Totally recommend these guys for firewood. Especially I highly recommend and commend the driver Luis who didn’t bat an eye at my delivery spot which has posed issues in the past as it’s a little tight. He efficiently dropped 2 cords right next to my sorting and stacking area. Best experience I've had getting firewood delivered in CT. Luis is a pro. The two 2 cords of firewood I bought from these guys is as advertised, 16-18”, reasonably cured and clean, lots of oak, some ash, maple, black locust. Like a lot of firewood now there is a good bit of spongy moth damaged trees, so being able to cure it out of the weather and in the sunshine will improve the burn quality. I’d say about half of it is ready to burn as is, the rest should be good in a couple months in the sun. I will buy more.

I called Elmwood for a delivery of some screened top soil and was not disappointed. They were courteous on the phone and delivered the top soil on time and dumped it right where it was needed. They were courteous delivery driver was nice and careful dumping the load. I would recommend them to anyone requiring mulch, too soil or any landscape product.

I spoke with Dave, he acknowledged it was their mistake giving us “dirt with stones” instead of top soil. He sent his people to remove the dirt from my raised bed and filled up with “premium screened topsoil”. Happy to see the difference in quality of product and the issue was resolved. ————————————————— No, you were the company who sold us the poor quality of “screened topsoil” but you confirmed you sold us the “fill dirt” per your reply. I emailed you the receipt and order number, please check your email. ——————————————————— Our landscape specialist got the topsoil from here per our request of getting premium screened topsoil. Although the website said “screened” it is completely not. Every scoop of it, you see tons of stones. I am thinking to throw all the topsoil I got from here and
