I did a review on Empire Today and their wonderful service before the floors were installed, this is a review for after their work was completed. I can't say enough good about Ryan Henry, and his expertise in the whole process, from beginning to end he took care of everything. He explained about the different flooring options and which materials would best suit my decor and needs. Things I hadn't even considered, he did...such as pet options. I have one cat so I don't have to worry about him being "hard" on floors but with some dog breeds and sizes it may be something to take notice of. FOLLOW UP....THEY, IN FACT, DID NOT REACH OUT TO ME AS PROMISED BELOW. Do not use Empire! They convinced us to get the top of the line carpet for our master bedroom telling us that the berber we chose would last forever. They installed it and the seam was terrible THE DAY OF installation. They said they would send someone to repair it. They had another team come to "fix it". It still looked just as bad. The carpet looks horrible. Its only months old and looks terrible. They dont seem to care. The guarantees they give you when they sell you the carpet is not what they do when you aren't satisfied. I had flooring installed totaling $16k. When the job was finished we noticed one of the steps installed was cracked and most of the quarter round had gaps and nail holes throughout the project. I called 3 times and was told 3 times someone would get back to me. I sent pictures and was assured of a call to come. The job was completed on 11/01/25. I'm unable to get Empire to call back or fix the issues. They have received my $16k, I'm not important enough to get the deserved response and follow up. DO NOT USE EMPRIE TODAY!! They did okay on the install of the LVP itself, but they damaged my walls, baseboards, and doorways, left glue on top of the LVP planks, and left a mess for me to clean up after! They did not install the transitions correctly into bedrooms, which left my carpet in those rooms extremely loose in the doorway- even with glue spots left in the carpet from when they installed the transitions. The sales rep lied to me about multiple things- including pricing, what was included in the price, and told me that Empire Today has their own install crews rather than having the job contracted out- when I asked the crews themselves they told me they were contracted in. They have come two times to level wood floor they installed and I still have a big bump.where wood is lifting up! They are totally rip offs ! I cant get a hold of manager to talk nothing! Do not use this company they dont stand behind product! Its overpriced and poor quality wood! Their installer is aweful ! I wouldn't give 1 star! Installer is aweful and won't listen to anything you suggest! They give no refunds! I rate this as poor installer poor customer service I just want a refund! Trust me do not use these guys!
