Empire Today - Jacksonville, FL

Terrible start to finish. We had carpet installed in two bedrooms around June of 2025. Installation was delayed a day due to empire not receiving the carpet in time. No big deal. Things happen. On the rescheduled installation date (the next day), they missed the installation arrival window (9-10am) with no communication. Reached out to them and they said they were going to have to reschedule the installation again. I happened to go home that day for lunch and they show up at 1pm without notification and after them telling us it was being rescheduled. The installation was worse than the customer service. Both installers (younger guys) had piss poor attitudes right out of the gate. I explain the job to them, they start to install, and I go back to work (after finding someone to supervise)

My installation was done by Fabio. I have to say, what a professional and personable team. I had never seen people work so hard and as diligently as this team. My 2,000 square foot house was totally completed in 2 1/2 days. My floor and quarter round looks so good! I referred them to several people who are looking to install new floors. Exceptional, quality work! Hire this team, you will not regret it!

The project took four days. The installation professionals were a father & son team. They laid 1,400 sq ft glued down flooring installed over existing tile. The flooring was laid against existing base boards without the use of quarter round. The flooring was an exact match of the flooring in the three bedrooms, and allows our home to flow throught with this beautiful product. Finally, the amout of coping’s to cut and fit around columns and doorways was performed expertly resulting in a custom finished throughout out. These two floor installers are “artisans” in what they do! (I also want to that the sales person Darlie who took our order and visited our home during the install to assure all was proceeding to our satisfaction.) You can call this install a five star event! Happy homeowner.

Empire Today is completely unreliable. Our top quality vinyl plank flooring is not just lifting, but is cracking up. We paid for a brand new sub-floor because Empire Today said they would not install our new top quality vinyl plank flooring until we replaced it. We paid for a brand new sub-floor and Empire Today came back and looked over the brand new sub-floor and then, as per their rules, installed the top quality plank flooring. The top quality plank flooring started coming up and actually cracking up in places within the year. The vinyl plank flooring is STILL UNDER WARRANTY but Empire Today came and told us that we, the customer who knows nothing about flooring, should have put down a moisture barrier. Therefore, we have to pay for another new floor and the moisture barrier we we

Today I met with Scott Claflin. He works for empire, carpet and Flooring He was very knowledgeable about floors. Show me lots of samples. Give me lots of information on the quality of the products. I was very pleased with what I seen plus he was great offering me discounts . This is the second time I've used empire. They did a huge tile job. And my home in Ocala, Florida, I was very pleased with the quality of the work. I have purchased a brand new home in Jacksonville Florida and I was very pleased to find out they could install my new flooring before my movers show up 12 move my furniture in I were highly recommend empire carpet for anyone. Looking to change their flooring in their house or to upgrade it. Thank you so much it is great working with people who truly enjoy their job. I can'
