E.R.S. Heating & Cooling

We had to get a new furnace. They fit us into the schedule quickly. They were friendly and informative. Did a great job installing the furnace, and cleaned up afterwards. We've used ERS several times and we've always been happy with their service.

My husband and I loved working with the nice folks at E.R.S.! We knew they'd be great from the first phone call when the nice woman we spoke with was trying to help us troubleshoot over the phone and joking around with us. Our furnace went out on a Friday and Michael and Tim were able to come check it out right away. They did everything in their power to see if they could get it up and running without replacing, but in the end it made the most financial sense to replace the entire thing (it was about 14 years old and past its prime). Tim came back again on Monday with Josh in tow and they did an excellent job replacing the furnace, making sure that it was running well before they left. Very thorough and helpful. ERS confirmed a potential problem with my furnace and quickly got me quotes so I could make an informed decision. Josh explained my different options and how they could affect other things such as electric bills. He didn’t just try to sell me the biggest more expensive unit. Caleb and his team were top notch on the install. ERS treated me and my house with respect.

Furnace went south (on a Sunday of course). Called ERS and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. The part that was needed wasn't available until Monday morning, so he did a work around to get us some heat for the night. Monday came, work was completed and we're back up and running! Always quality work, fair prices and nice guys. Wouldn't go with anyone else for HVAC!

I’m reluctantly giving a 3-star review, and it reflects the overall experience. The technicians themselves were excellent — definitely 5 stars. The office staff was polite, but communication was the main issue. The exact sequence may not be 100% perfect, but this is generally how things happened: I was originally told the part I needed would arrive on Friday. When I called that afternoon for an update, I was told it hadn’t arrived but that it had been delivered somewhere and that installation would happen on Saturday. When I called Saturday for an ETA, I was then told the part had been delivered to a location in Ogden that was closed for the weekend, so installation would have to wait until Monday.
