When our Thermador oven wasn’t working just days before we were due to have two dozen people at our house I did a Google search and contacted the 800 number listed for Thermador Appliance Service and Repair. The next day, CESAR BALZA, showed up at our house and introduced himself as the Thermador technician. Mr. Balza’s diagnosis was that we needed a new main control board for our oven, which he would order and install in two days. The total cost for parts and labor Mr. Balza said would be $1662 and I was told we needed to pay (Zelle) half of that amount, $831.09, upfront. When Mr. Balza failed to show up as promised two days later, I contacted the Thermador Company and was told that they didn’t have our name or information in their records, they hadn’t sent a repa

This appliance service company is the ultimate scammer in the NY area stay away from them deceiving in advertising falsely advertising that they represent major appliance manufacturers it is all a lie they made me wait 3 consecutive days for a technician to repair my range which they had serviced in 2024 and didn’t fix the problem I fell in the trap when they said the work was guaranteed for one year. After a whole morning researching other platforms like Yelp we realized that they had taken our money after all the disappointments because they don’t show up we are better off by no letting them in your house.

Beware of this company and others with similar Estbal name. I just got scammed with a repair tech coming out to look at my microwave, saying they have to order parts and need a deposit. Once you pay they ghost you and never come out. They are affiliated also with a fake booking company out of India which is who recommended them. UPDATE: The part they reference was never ordered and when i finally got the appliance fixed by someone else, the issue wasn't even remotely close to what they said the issue was. After filing a police report and the detective pursuing them, Estbal getting caught in lying to the detective, they realized the game was up and they had to return my money. If you had the same experience I recommend you file a police report and pursue the same actions as I did.
