I had a very frustrating experience with the Checotah office during my closing. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a client. I was even told they couldn’t get their work done because I was present in the office and because my realtor was calling—both of which are normal parts of a real estate transaction. There was no sense of urgency from either employee. Despite having our title commitment for 30 days, nothing seemed to be worked on until just five days before closing. When issues arose, they were blamed on someone being “out for surgery,” which is not an acceptable explanation after having an entire month to prepare. Buyers rarely realize the title company is only as fast as the lender! Eufaula Abstract does a great job and like the realtor, lender, etc. they don't get paid until it closes!

Didn't receive my settlement statement until the day of closing. They definitely don't get into a hurry to try to accommodate the Realtors very bad service
