Love my new front door! Matt is a great salesman who knows his products front to back. He was super helpful and patient choosing the best design for us. My wife and happy with our choices. Installation was great and painless. Steve cleaned up after his installation and made sure my children stayed clear of the work area. Couldn’t recommend this company anymore.

I purchased a patio door in 2016 from Matt at Excel, because he sold us on a triple pane door with a lifetime warranty. In 2020/2021, we had to have Excel out to service the door lock on the door, and they had to replace it with one in a different color. Spring 2025, the track failed, making the door in a condition that it couldn't be used (not to mention a screen door that never worked properly from day one - constantly having someone out to "fix" that issue). When we called to have it serviced, we were informed our warranty ran out, because the manufacturer went out of business, and they could send someone out, but it is something they normally charge for, however they'll send the technician out to see what options we have. Great experience with my new front door system installation as part of our Chicago Bungalow restoration project. Installers Dave and Steve Jr. started right on time and did their expert install. Real craftsman! They were able to preserve my original 1928 inside trim, which is no small feat, but that's where experience pays off. Cleaned up well and hauled away the old system. Excel did our whole house of windows in 2007, and the windows still look and operate like new. We are very happy we used Excel once again (prices are competitive and very fair) and we always highly recommend them.

It was a good choice. We had to replace some windows and a French door, we could get the best price and the best quality for what we needed, all the team is really kind and helpful. They gave us advice to finish our proyect.

Our roof and gutters were badly damaged with storms last spring (2024). Our insurance (State Farm) initially denied our claim. Enter Excel and the amazing Amanda and other team members. They went toe to toe with our insurance company for months. Finally, a year later, State Farm relented and approved for us an entire new roof and gutters. Amanda always kept us in the loop, worked closely with our insurance company and made sure we were approved for everything we need. The roof and gutters were done in 1-1/2 days (we have A LOT of roof) and the yard was left immaculate after they left. From our great salesmen at the start, to Amanda in the office, to the crew that finished the work, our experience with Excel was 10 out of 10.
