Steve and his team were wonderful to work with, and they are masters of their craft. First, we contacted Exceptional Stone Products for a quote to replace our crumbling front steps outside of our house, but we were not ready to move forward. Six months later, we contacted them again, explaining we were ready to move forward, but that we didn’t know what style we wanted. Steve Barkley came to my home eager to help me solve my water problem. You see, I have an old stone foundation. While fairly maintained (aka the house won't fall down), water likes to seap into the basement. One offending area is what you can see in the pictures. I needed water to move away from the house so Steve thought regrading the area and water proofing the exterior wall will do the trick. I also wanted a concrete pad for the AC condenser to sit on. Steve is a One-of-a-Kind! I was looking for someone to fix some retaining walls, and I had to consider water run-off because my house was at the bottom of a hill on a lake. After hearing my friend discuss her experience with Steve (he had fixed some water problems she had), I knew he was the right person for the job. Steve did amazing, unique, quality stone work. I left much of the design up to Steve, and he used his creativity and ‘can-do’ attitude to deliver a great job on-time. There was a very large tree stump next to my house. Steve has been such a great help in regards to trying to resolve my drainage and foundation issue. My association is giving me a difficult time correcting my foundation issues that are causing water damage to my basement. Steve is highly involved in trying to educate everyone on the proper resolution as it is an intricate project.
