F & C Air Duct Cleaning

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I should have read the reviews before using their services. If you are looking for a company to come out to your home and cause damage. This is the company for you! In the process of cleaning my ducts and return, they damaged my return duct by disconnecting it from the return vent. Due to their negligence my AC kept running and would not cool my upstairs. I placed a HVAC service call because I assumed something was wrong with my AC. When the HVAC company came out, their finding were: the disconnected return vent was pulling all the hot air from the attic. When I reached out to FC they refused to take responsibility. Straight up and sincere advice. Even got on the phone directly with another shop I was considering so I could hear the other guy duck and weave when it came time to prove out what he would do. You get more than what you pay for. Spent 4.5 hours with 2 guys getting the guts of my AC and furnace spotless. UPDATE: An hour after the owner/tech left, I found out that they had not properly re-connected my dryer hose to the duct after cleaning the dryer duct. Once I tried to do it myself, I found out why. Rather than disconnecting the dryer vent hose from the duct elbow poking out of the wall, he had actually removed the elbow from the internal wall duct itself. Complete bait and switch. Contacted and scheduled service for Air Duct cleaning in which I thought I was hiring F & C Air Duct cleaning and a completely different company by the name of Air Green Solution showed up and thought they were about to the do the work in which they were turned away. To add wit, they showed up in a pick up truck and a shop vac. Would not recommend complete bait and switch tactic.

Quick service, friendly tech but I was appalled when presented with a card reader asking for a tip and the tech also verbally asking for one. This is not the type of service or business that should be asking for tips. I felt pressured to add one.

Be careful when booking this company for carpet cleaning thru Groupon. The Groupon is $80 for 3 rooms. AFTER booking you will receive a text that I will also post here. Yes, you need a minimum of 3 rooms and 250 square ft. for ALL 3 rooms for them to honor this voucher. I did the math, you would need 3 rooms that average at about 83.33 sq ft for this voucher to be honored. The average guest room is about 100-150 sq ft. The average kids room is about 80-150 sq ft. Now maybe you are thinking to yourself they can clean up to 250 sq ft and then stop but no! They do not do “partial cleanings” (also not in the Groupon). When I inquired about the additional charge per square ft due to it being over 250 sq ft, I was given a price of $135, nearly double the price of the Groupon! So unless you have
