Family Ties Construction

I had used Hanson's to get gutters installed and they contracted Family Ties to do the installation. The gutters are great.. their service from Family Ties, the exact opposite. Below is my review I left on 1-800-Hansons Google page. "Family Ties construction installed my gutters and one guy was extremely nice.. one guy very too himself.. the last guy was a complete jerk. They didn't even install one of the end caps that was on the furthest side.. I trusted from what I could see everything was great. Should have walked to the end to check on all end caps. A few days later it was pouring down rain. And that's when I find out it was missing. The rain was dumping out that side onto my tiger lillies, destroying them and the pot they were in. It was also flooding my yard on that side right

I recently had the gutters replaced on my home and used Family Ties Construction for the task. I was thrilled with the professionalism and competence of the crew. The team leader, Thomas Seltenright, communicated with me throughout the project to ensure my satisfaction. The crew was able to place the gutters just as I hoped and their cleanup was outstanding. I was so satisfied with this project that I discussed potential future work with Thomas. I will certainly be using Family Ties for my construction needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of expertise.

Super disappointed with them. My grandma who is in her late 70’s received a quote from them to do her deck, hired him and gave him $1000 deposit then Covid hit. He said he couldn’t get the supplies then she waited and heard nothing and when she contacted him he said he had been out of town. We let some time pass we sent him another message asking for the money back and his response was “ Sorry… I have been out of state working either way I can get your money back or schedule to do it now that material is more available.” We said we’d rather our money back, you can send a check in the mail and we told him the address. He okay and have yet to hear anything or receive a check. It has been over a year now.

SCAM. They were paid almost $5k for a repair on my new house in August. It’s December and still getting the run around. No one has even been to the house to START the repair. Can’t get a straight answer, they say they’ll be there but never show up or even call. The owner could care less, an embarrassment of a company. I’ve never seen a business run like this, at this point have zero faith in their ability to make the repair even if they ever showed up. Do NOT use this company, save yourself.

The owner likes to intimidate and bully other people. Very unprofessional and will not work with a company who tolerates this kind of behavior. I would not feel comfortable having this person working on my house.
